Michael Cerbelli

Michael Cerbelli’s The Hot List™

INSPIRE
verb | in.spire | inˈspī(ə)r/
  1. To fill someone with the urge or ability to do or feel something, especially to do something creative.
  2. Breathe in (air); inhale.

Michael Cerbelli’s: The Hot List™” is the definition of inspiration. It exists to provide not only the urge, but the ability to accomplish creative greatness.

This incredible presentation has become a ‘can’t miss’ annual event in and of itself. In “The Hot List™,” Michael takes the hottest, newest and most inspiring event and entertainment insights and showcases them for the producers in a breathtaking 90 minute, head-spinning romp. A word of advice; have your espresso ‘on board’ and don’t blink, you might miss something!

With “The Hot List™,” Michael identifies fresh trends in the ever-changing marketplace and showcases acts and innovations for enhanced experiential marketing. “Michael Cerbelli’s: The Hot List™” is more than an education in the direction of event production, it is Michael’s way of giving back to the industry which has given him so much.

It’s been said that how ‘The Hot List™’ goes, so goes the industry. Michael himself has even become ‘the event within the event,’ posing for pictures with fans even as he orchestrates the magnificent happening. Michael’s secret? He loves what he does, and he loves to see others succeed. Michael never needs to be the life of the party; his dream is to bring life to your party.

Michael Cerbelli is the very definition of international events. For over 38 years, Michael has done more than change the paradigm of prestigious happenings – Michael has become the paradigm.

If you have been one of the fortunate invitees to a Cerbelli creation, you know who he is. But more importantly, you have experienced first-hand Michael’s breathtaking creativity and mad technical expertise. His success is the result of more than just his mind-blowing concepts, it’s also because his events go off with a military – yet transparent – precision. Though a fixture in the New York City events scene, Michael’s influence is worldwide; from the Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, to a birthday party for the King of Morocco, to a signature event at the palace of Catherine the Great in St. Petersburg, Russia, Cerbelli Creative’s events are legendary.

Michael’s recent multi-million-dollar ‘Brooklyn Bar-Mitzvah’ at the Barclay Center grabbed the attention of the worldwide press from CNN to the BBC. Still, Michael’s passion is to do more than create incredible experiences. He would much rather be ‘giving back’ to the event community than fielding calls from the press. Michael’s heart is expressed through his wildly-successful, “Michael Cerbelli’s: The Hot List™” events. With “The Hot List™,” Michael works to inspire producers throughout the industry, reveal the latest trends, and fill their creative toolbox with the latest event resources.

It takes big personalities to do big events – personalities as big as the events themselves. And Michael Cerbelli is that person; larger-than-life, charismatic and in-charge.

Experience: The New Status Symbol – Using Science to Design With Confidence

In today’s experience-driven world, engaging and motivating your meeting and incentive guests is essential. However, only leaning on best practices can create a sense of “better sameness,” resulting in disappointed guests. How do you ensure positive guest experience, brand alignment and business objectives are achieved? By applying experience design principles based on neuroscience that provide a total program experience—from the beginning to end of your event.

  • Learn the power of a single word & how it can define your event.
  • Understand the phases of the guest journey & how to design a successful event.
  • Experience journey-mapping, guest-centered design & how to apply it.

For more than 30 years, Greg Bogue has been dedicated to creating messages and experiences that move people. As vice president of experience design, Bogue is applying the latest in neuroscience to help Maritz Travel Company transform the way it designs and delivers exceptional meeting and event experiences for its clients.

In his role, he is focused on improving the guest experience in meetings, events and incentive travel programs to create better value for both organizations and their guests. Bogue works closely with client teams to elevate the guest experience and ensure the evolution of event design. He is creative catalyst who can quickly synthesize a message and help organizations deliver it to their guests at a higher level.

Bogue is a certified Experience Economy Expert by Jim Gilmore, a renowned experience expert and coauthor of The Experience Economy. In 2014, Bogue was awarded the prestigious Experience Management Achievement Award by Strategic Horizons LLP for his significant contributions in creating new-to-the-world experience offerings and approaches to Maritz Travel Company. In addition, Bogue is a certified Master Designer by The Maritz Institute.
